Much like your first years of college and core classes are the foundation to prepare you for selecting the appropriate major, Guest Relations Marketing developed our Marketing Apprenticeship to help you determine where your strengths lie, find what best interests you, and discover the opportunities that exist in marketing to guide you from your major into the real world of professional marketing and ultimately, into choosing the best marketing career path for you.
Job Description & Duties . . . .
Our Apprenticeship Program is focused on the area of Social Media as part of an integrated marketing approach for brands. The Program may include a competitive interview process, 90-day apprenticeship program, weekly educational marketing workshop, hands-on client and agency projects, mid-point and final performance review, networking & industry event opportunities. Majority of time daily will include assistance of daily execution of Social Media programs.
Ideal Candidates . . . .
Ideal candidates will possess a passion for marketing, with a basic knowledge of online and social media skills. Candidates will be self-starters, organized, detail oriented, have professional writing skills and be motivated to never stop thinking and continually push the envelope to make each project they touch even better.
This is an unpaid internship that will provide you with a foundational understanding of a career in marketing and the beginnings of an education on integrated marketing communications. We are seeking candidates immediately for 2011 program opportunities, with a time commitment of Mondays thru Fridays for 30 hours per week.
